Level up your crochet skills through variations on a fiber classic; granny squares! Forget creating only baby blankets and throws, granny squares are a basic building block that can lead to your next cardigan, tank, pair of shorts or market bag. They are quick, easy and there are a myriad of patterns available. Start your project with these basics.

What You’ll Learn:

Project Description:

This is a learn and help class, meaning that you only pay for the classes you attend ($15/class) and you decide what you make in the end. All of the squares taught in these classes are based on instructions by Cypress Textiles. Please purchase the 2020 VVCAL Blanket & Border pattern on Ravelry or Etsy for written instructions and videos. Only the charts will be provided in class.

Required Materials:

Weight 2 or 3 yarn - amount appropriate for desired project

3.5 mm or 4 mm crochet hook - size according to yarn selected

Tapestry needle

• Basic Crochet

Instructor Bio: Kristin Baird has been knitting and crocheting for over 2 decades. She has a passion for learning and has advanced her skills to include lace making and aran cables. Kristin also enjoys sewing, baking, paper craft and basically anything that gets her creative juices flowing.
