What is Ravelry? Ravelry is a fiber arts website geared primarily toward knitters and crochets—though other fiber artists can be found here too. Ravelry provides a personal notebook for fiber artists to keep track of their projects, yarns & fibers, tools, and pattern library, a rich database of patterns and yarns, and a community with thousands of forums and groups to connect with other Ravelers over any interest you could think of.
Ravelry is a robust tool that can help you organize, advance, and celebrate your knitting!

What you will learn: The hidden gems of Ravelry! We’ll cover search capabilities, notes (for patterns, projects, and yarn), yarn stashing, needle caching, and more.

Skills Required: Basic fiber arts background will be helpful. The class will mainly be in the context of knitting, but we will also discuss crochet and weaving.

Level: Anyone who wants help using & understanding Ravelry.

Materials Needed: a laptop, tablet, or cell phone with internet connection.  Make sure you know how to log in to your Ravelry account before you come to class.
