Stacked Stitches - Ribbon Candy

Do you love the 60’s? Mixing and matching colors? Learning a new technique? Making a stitch pattern your own? We think you’ll love stacked stitches! This one-time class will be packed full of new methods as we make a small swatch of the stacked stitches technique together as a class. You can decide if you’d like to make a scarf per the free Ravelry pattern, or go your own way and create whatever you want, the possibilities are endless! 

You’ll Learn:

• Stacked Stitch technique from Xandy Peters

• How to adapt the stitch pattern to whatever project you have in mind

Skills Required: Proficiency at knitting/purling, reading your knitting, and curiosity for learning new things!

Materials Needed/Homework: You can work your swatch in whatever yarn you’d like to use for your project: bulky for the Ribbon Candy Scarf, worsted to try the basic stitches, etc, but MAKE SURE YOU BRING AT LEAST 2 COLORS OF THE SAME WEIGHT. If you aren’t sure what you’d like to do I would recommend worsted weight in 3-4 different colors and size US 7 needles.
