Math for Maker’s Series: SHOPPING FOR YARN/PATTERNS
- Description
This year we are taking our much-loved Math for Knitters class and breaking it up by topic for a more in-depth discussion (not to mention easier to digest!) and opening it up to crocheters as well.
Our second installment will discuss what to look for when you are shopping for patterns. How do you know if this pattern is one that will be easy to read and follow? How do you know if that sweater pattern will fit?
We’ll also be discussing what to look for when you are shopping for yarn. How do you know if the yarn that you are buying is quality? Or if it will wear well? How do you know what yarn will make a good substitute if the recommended pattern yarn isn’t available?
