First Colorwork Sweater - The Geometer by Lotta Lothgren
Show off that one of a kind skein of yarn in this versatile pattern by Lotta Lothgren. The Geometer sweater can be knit with or without the corrugated ribbing, colorwork throughout the body or just the yoke, and can be made long or short-sleeved. With so many options it’s no wonder that we love this sweater and the way it shows off a beautiful color gradient or that special skein you’ve had your eye on. This is a great first colorwork/first sweater class as the simple construction and meditative colorwork will keep you moving through the project. We’ve designed this class to have just two sessions, one for discussing short rows and colorwork techniques and the second for discussing how to pick up stitches under the arm to avoid those all-too-common gaps and finishing your sweater. We’re excited to knit with you!
